The reason there are so many different style of machined wheels, is because there 100 ‘s and 100’s of different rules that we deal with Accross the country. But if your rules allow to have lighten wheels that would be your fastest set up. Then it comes down to lubricants. If your rules allow oil for l**e this would be your fastest set up. We have been doing this for over 40 plus years, we introduced the 1 gram super stockers in 2006 to the public, we created them in 1984 before internet was around and dominated our scout-o-rama we had the accelerator, the .6 gram HoleShots and 1.4 gram stockers. If you’re looking for a great fast wheel we use the 1.3 gram stiff cut stocters Accross the country and have 1000’s of wins. The lighter wheel helps the potential energy in the wheel accelerate faster because it takes less energy to get up to speed. Which will give you a faster car. Here is the difference in the same car built with same weight placement same 3 wheel touch RailRunner. Our purestock 2.5 gram 1.78 wheel height. Vs the first car on the video with 1.60”H, 1.3 gram MidAmerica stiff cut stocker’s oil l**e on this car and graphite l**e on the other 2 cars with the heavy 2.5 gram wheels.

If it does not say you can’t, then you can, but check your length rule. They are usually 7” total for length. Good luck
