Fresh huge order of sandworms and bloodworms just hit the shop! Plenty of bait going into the holiday weekend. We also just restocked the Green Monster nightcrawlers which are especially awesome at night. This crazy hot weather should break soon and lead to some awesome fishing conditions all weekend long. The HG&E Robert E. Barrett Fishway is operational and lifting shad as we speak! The tours start tomorrow and run Wednesdays - Sundays (for free!). If you've never toured it, I strongly encourage it! It's really cool, informative, and appropriate for all ages.

And with that, the 2026 Shad Showdown has come to an end. Lots of last minute weigh-ins and a two way tie led to some excitement and a very nice 3.69 pounder took first place. Thanks for everyone who participated in our first year hosting our own shad derby! We hope everyone had fun and will come back again next year!
