The book Busy Bel is being sold at Books on the Square 471 Angell St Providence Rhode Island. The Book Busy Bel was written and self published by Melanie Fermín. Busy Bel was inspired by Isobel Melanie's granddaughter. The book also includes the New York City Board of Education District 8's Women's History Contest entry. The winning poem was written by Melanie and her class 125 a special group of first graders in 2001, the school year before moving to Rhode Island. Melanie would like to thank Books On The Square for this great opportunity. Melanie would also like to thank her illustrator MsGraphica Illustrations from the Philippines for her hard work and dedication.
