Due to rapidly increasing parts cost, unfortunately I must raise the price of Vacuum Tube Combo Preamp once again. Sort of shocked by how much the cost of the transformers and chassis have gone up since my last bulk order of them.
Good news is, the quality will not be compromised! These preamps sound amazing and are built like a tank. Im dedicated to making professional quality gear and that will never change.

Was a rock star day yesterday 🙂. On top of cranking out a bunch of Boss Organ gear, did a rush job for Roger Waters and crew.... Got the call at 4:30 pm that they needed a custom Leslie cable and a Lunchbox cable immediately (they misplaced them), built them and express shipped by 6:30. Then headed down to the Boston Garden to enjoy the Johnny Blue Skies (Sturgill Simpson) show with the great Robbie Crowell on keys, who is rocking a Boss Organ Lunchbox with his Hammond rig. They played a non-stop 3 hour 15 min set of bangers! Thanks to Robbie for putting me on the guestlist!

Ive got more than a dozen 1930's Hammond model A organs itchin' to be built into Boss Organ A3 spectaculars... commission yours today!

Has the B3 features and looks but is considerably smaller in depth - so easier to move and takes up less stage space - while having HUGE bass and extra goodies like a built in Boss Organ Lunchbox.

There ain't nothing like the real thing!

Gooey foam removal today for a clients B3. This one had 2 dead notes on lower manual and 7 dead notes on upper manual. Foam is cleaned out and all damaged resistance wires replaced with resistors/wire. Time for reassembly.

Also today, Lunchbox #176 (with FX loop) finished and headed to Oregon.

Coming soon..... the "Lunchbox Studio".... same concept as the regular Lunchbox, but designed for clonewheel and studio outboard use. Will have 1/4" line level input and output.
For real Hammond organs, you will still want the regular Lunchbox. But ive had enough requests to make a clonewheel version, so have finally caved. Will also work great for studio outboard use on a variety of instruments and/or recorded tracks.

Always fun to get to see an old "friend" again!

I built this M3 single manual organ for Brooks Milgate over 10 years ago. He just brought it back in for some upgrades and general servicing. It received:
-1/4" pre-expression Line Input installed
-Additional Leslie output installed so he can run both of his 145 Leslies
-relay added for safe switching of the leslie speed via footswitch
-new MOD reverb tank
-both Leslies received general servicing.... motors, rotor balancing, bearings, etc

Ready for another 10 years!

One thing i love about my job is it takes me to some incredible places sometimes. Here is the Tremont Temple Baptist Church in downtown Boston. Built in 1896. Picture doesn't really do it justice, but this room is massive. Im not sure how tall that ceiling is, but its way up there.... 7 or 8 story high i believe.
Magnificent architecture... they don't make them like they used to.
No i wasnt fixing the pipe organ... I was fixing and upgrading the little Hammond M3 in the corner. Four service calls completed today, in two states.

Two "built in" Lunchboxes headed out the door. One for a B3 and one for a C2. Just finished thoroughly testing these units, the best part of the job 🙂. They sound real nice.
