We threw our twin daughters a princess birthday party when they turned 4. While dreaming up party decor, I came across a picture of princess dress silhouettes strung up as a banner. I loved how simple they were compared to all the other flashy party stuff. I jumped at the chance to create such a cute little piece for their party. So I pulled out every color of card stock I had and drew and cut and glued and taped 9 dresses by hand. I was so proud! When the day of the party rolled around, I forgot to even put them out! 🤦🏻♀️
BUT I was NOT going to let those babies go to waste. I framed and hung them in the girls’ playroom. A month later, I added 6 more. As time went on, it started to bug me that the dresses weren’t accurate... and then, I had the idea of adding hair! After sitting on this idea for several months and wondering if other people would be interested, I bought the equipment and spent many MANY hours making the new designs to make it happen! AND that is how PaperCutesCo was born!
Here is our gallery wall today and the first one that started it all!
