If you’ve been here since the beginning, you might know that I started Coordinating Chaos while I was in bed healing from surgery after a dangerous miscarriage. I don’t know what it was- maybe something in me that wanted to make something out of my grief.

Some of the chaos is in my mind as I create hopefully beautiful things by working with my hands.

This current collection is so personal to me, and I’ve barely showed these because they feel the most personal, but today, on Mother’s Day, I’m wearing my tiny forget-me-nots. For the baby I never held & for the losses in my family. We could never forget but maybe we need to show it for other people to remember for a moment with us.

Dogwood blossoms have been in most orders this week & though I was expecting more people to prefer the tiny ones, most orders have been for these bigger ones! They’re what I keep wearing too- with my sweatshirts, with my dresses, with my jeans- nature goes with everything.
