Look at that Kydex. This is a knife modification for someone working a set net site. Full serrated blade cut down to 4", with a tanto tip ground in and a blade cover made. The blade cover can be dropped in a pocket, or lashed to waders!

Kydex is impervious to water, and can be washed with soap and water when dirty or covered in animal guts...

This knife just out of the shop. Blade was cut out 20+ years ago by a member of a moose butcher crew. I added handles and a blade cover. Neat, super usable design!

I was looking at all the various implements I had in for sharpening, and had to take a pic. If it has an edge, bring it by- sharp tools are much more fun!

OK guys- GET DOWN HERE!

I have just gotten some AWESOME knives in today! I was getting giggly unpacking them... The BEST Buck fixed blade ever built, some Carhartt branded Case traditional knives, and finally- three of the sweetest Titanium handled knives you have ever seen.

HURRY! These are AWESOME- (obviously, as I have resorted to writing w/ lots of capital letters... :D) Pics are of a Case "Desk Knife", a neat little blade with a sheath designed to lay flat on a desk!

Found a couple pics of some older knives I had done. Hit the links and you will see some additional pics of them.

The Green Micarta knife is A2 carbon steel, with an extremely fine edge. It was designed as a super high performance cutter.

The wood handled knife was CPM154 Stainless, and came back with a good report after a lot of work on some moose. Some of you may have seen this one in person at the store.

I have an amazing knife that got here less than an hour ago...

Made in Russia, it just does everything right. A nice sturdy blade, made of D2 steel so it keeps a decent edge even when cutting gnarly stuff. Good looking Micarta handles that are NOT black... and the awesome little etched "Made in Russia" on the spine of the blade.

Picture time! A knife came into the shop on consignment, a 1970 Puma White Hunter. Made in Germany since 1956, these are still in production! Originally designed with the input of British hunters in Africa- called White Hunters. Very interesting history, Puma was started in 1756, and is still producing knives today!
