Our client wanted to minimize damage to the tree propping up this broken spruce. Found a safe tie-in above and walked up this 45 degree spruce until all its entangled limbs were removed. Roped it and pulled it out of the tree with minimal impact.

Last week our crew worked on a 1 mile trail at a bear viewing lodge; clearing trees, roots, rocks and stumps by hand. We demolished one very large rock, dug benched tread and built boardwalk. We even got to see a couple of brown bears!

These trees had been topped many years ago. This summer they were slated for removal, as standards within the Homer Electric Association right of way have changed. The adjacent property owner liked having the trees, around 50 in total, so we made sure to communicate with HEA and their contractor Carlos Tree Service to get approval to perform the work and achieve the clearance required for non-removal.
