As the year is winding down I though I should take some time to update the happenings at the RCR Sodus Point Office. This is the time of year when boat owners are evaluating their upcoming sesson and making decisions to either stay the course, list the boat, or move to another venue. The 'good" boats will sell early in the season which actually begins now.

Recently I have been working as a buyer agent for clients that have specific boat requirements and are ready to buy. Using our software I can search the listings that most buyers won't find and have funds and paperwork ready to go when the right boat comes on the market.

RCR has had a geat year in new boat sales as well, we were actually the leading brokerage firm on the east coast selling the most new Beneteaus at the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis. Sold and coming to Sodus Bay and western NY are two Beneteau 40.1(s), one 38.1', one 34' one 46.1 in the upcoming season.

This summer we will have a new line of Beneteau outboard powerboats on display at Katlynn Marina and in our showroom in Buffalo. Let me know if you would like to see any boats in the comfort of our new heated showroom, Sail or Power.

Here are two late season Sodus Point sales that will be leaving the area next week. They both are prepped for transport to begin their new lives in salt water. Salt water sailors are always happy to find a clean freshwater boat and we have many. The Catalina 275 Sport is leaving Thursday for Santa Rosa Beach Florida, and the Catalina 28 will be on it's way to Rhode Island Monday.

I just want to recognize the great work done by the staff of Katlynn Marine with the fabrication of the new catwalk and mooring stand-offs completed for the Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association (SBJSA). Katlynn Marine continues to be a great friend to the boating community, especially SBJSA.
