Ya'll know the store is for sale. It's not a secret. But it took a little bit for us to be ready to actually say that we aren't just selling down extra inventory. We are officially working on selling ALL the inventory.
We do have a few buyers interested in the business, and we are still hopeful that they are able to continue on what we've started, but banks do not like this stuff. (Specifically our industry.) So in the hopes that selling our inventory WAY down will make the purchase of our business easier on one of those potential buyers, here we go! Lots of fabulous deals for ya'll and hopefully helping the next owners. (Fingers crossed)
Lots of rumors have been flooding our area. And we've heard most of them. Let me make things as crystal clear as I possibly can.
NO, the sale of our business does not have anything to do with the local economy.
YES, the owners (Skip and Cathy) are absolutely ready to retire, and have hopes to go on a mission as well as travel and do retired people stuff.
NO, the rest of the family isn't refusing to buy them out because of some sort of drama. We just can't afford to pay them what the business is worth, and our lives are going down different paths.
We have all loved this season of supporting our parents in their dream business, and we've learned tons in the process. None of us have any regrets, hard-feelings, or feel anything negative towards our time with SharpShooters. I'm not sure how so much ugly could even be imagined with the wonderful relationship that we've developed with this amazing White Mountain community. We adore our customers, and as far as we know, we are still in good standing with ya'll. So please, as you hear the crazy ugly rumors going around. Stand with us, and let them know they aren't true.
Also, feel free to come in and ask if ya'll have questions. We are always as open as can be. And also... about these deals! I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that the boss really does keep adding more discounts into the pile. He is regularly doing the math on how low he can take the cost of things. So come in and scope it out!
PS Father's Day is coming super fast... just as a quick reminder!
