Block 1 of the Haven Quilt-Along is the Dutchman’s Puzzle—the center block of the quilt and the only one you’ll make just once.

It’s built entirely from flying geese, with a small twist that creates a pinwheel at the center. If you’ve already made flying geese, you’re ready for this block.
