Howdy peeps!!!

I have a pretty cool thing going on right now. My banana tree is blooming! Now before y'all go off on me, I know that the child will hit way before they ripen, but it is still cool to see it bloom and it will be fun watching the bananas grow. 😁
I know I've been a bad boy when it comes to posting here lately so I'll let the pictures do the talking. As far as the tithonia goes, the hurricane got it. It still has a few blooms on it but the poor plant itself looks bad. I do have another one that survived so when it starts blooming I'll take some pics of it for y'all!
I have five variated Solomon's seal that I'm fixing to put on marketplace so if anyone wants one, let me know before I do. They are $10 each. I also still have several pink Vitex available for the same price! Get em before they're gotten!!! I've been getting a ton of seeds from my butterfly w**d (orange) so I should have plenty to go around come springtime.

Howdy folks!!!
Well today was a wonderful break from the heat and Green Junebugs! I think my yard supplies the rest of the world with them. 😯. I didn't get much done this weekend because of it but that's a price I'm willing to pay for some very needed rain! I did finally get the rest of my tomatoes in the ground along with some parsley for the swallowtails. Hopefully next weekend I will be potting up a few plants so they can get bigger and fuller. I think next up for the marketplace will be the Pink Vitex. These are definitely butterfly magnets! The flowers look and smell like butterfly bush but the Vitex is a much stronger plant! If y'all have any questions about plants, you are welcome and encouraged to ask in our group BluShu Farms Friends. I created the group because I want all of you to succeed in your gardening endeavors (and I can always stand to learn some more, too! 😉). I hope y'all have a great week and as always

Happy Friday all!!! I hope everyone had a great Independence Day yesterday 😁. It was the start of another hot spell but at least this time it brings some rain! Today was 96 in Snow Camp but I heard it got to 106 at RDU. 😯. Please stay cool and hydrated and if you go outside, take plenty of cooling off breaks.
I am running a reader only special only for anyone who reads my posts! I have a few small plants that are ready for up-potting or putting in the ground as soon as you get them. Next week I will start putting them into gallon pots and when they get big enough, I will sell them at a higher rate. If you have raised chickens you know you but them tiny to save money and get the most out of them. These plants are the same way! Right now they are $3 or 4 for $10. If I don't sell out, they will be upgraded and then sold for $8-10 each. Same plants but bigger! Lol. I have Dwarf Bee Balm, Hot Lips Salvia, Cherry Brandy Rudbeckia and Tw**dia (Blue Milkw**d). Yes, you can mix and match! You can Message me here or through my group BluShu Farms Friends or my personal account Brian Grigsby if you would like anything. Snow Camp/Burlington area can pick up this weekend and my friends in the Triad can pick up Monday thru Friday. I don't have much left so take advantage of this before they are gone!

Good evening folks!!!

Man was it hot this weekend! Got a lot done for working 30 minutes then cooling off for an hour! One thing I have learned over the last couple of years is that Sheep Sorrel sucks. It's like a spiderweb in the dirt. Since I finally have a chance, I've been cleaning the beds and putting down fresh mulch.
I decided to try something today to help water my hibiscus that is in the ground. The problem was when watering with a hose, most of the water runs off and doesn't really help. I took the smallest drill bit and put tiny little holes in the bottom of a five gallon bucket, set it next to the plant and fill with water. My hibiscus was a little droopy which is what started this endeavor. Now they are perked right up as if nothing happened! I will do this once a week when there is no rain. Problem solved 😁

First of all, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! 😁
Thank you to everyone who came out to my first big sale!!! I also want to thank everyone who supported me with your likes, loves, prayers and new followers. I feel the love from everyone!!! I can't wait until the next one. I also want to thank the Sylvan Ruritains for allowing me to use their facility to make it possible. 😁.
