Lower Columbia River spring Chinook season has been set.

The Lower Columbia River Spring Chinook season has been set!!!!🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

March 1 to April 8: Buoy 10 line upstream to Beacon Rock, plus only the Oregon and Washington banks (by hand-cast only for Washington) from Beacon Rock upstream to the Bonneville Dam deadline marker.

Salmon and steelhead: The daily limit is six, with no more than two adults, and only one may be an adult Chinook. All wild steelhead and salmon other than hatchery Chinook must be released. Salmon must be at least 12 inches to keep. Shad retention is permitted, with no size minimum or daily limit.

Great news!!! We are excited to be able to continue to fish right out front of the house! Both Chinook and Coho will remain open through the end of the year. Personally this has been some of the best fishing I’ve seen in years. Who wants to join in?

Lots of fish still in the system down here and excellent fishing, but with the Puget Sound projections I’m starting to get excited about the upcoming coho fishery on the Snohomish. If it’s anything like last year it will be one for the books! Dates available the end of Sept through October. Great fishery also for group afternoon trips as well as families and kids. This is one you don’t want to miss out on!

The 2024 lower Columbia River Spring Chinook season has been set.. I’m starting 3/20 till the last day open 4/5.

With lack of snow this year and warmer spring temperatures ahead, should lead to early numbers of good fishing. 

Book open today for this short fishery. 3/20 to 4/5. Availabilities will go quick…
