November 13th and 14th The 2021 Fall Best of the Northwest Arts Festival will be back in person at Magnuson Park in Seattle. I will be presenting at this event and you will be able to find me in Booth J4. The event is open at 10:00 AM each day. King County Covid protocols are in place, so bring you Covid Vaccination card or recent proof of a negative Covid test. Admission is $5 if you buy your tickets on line ahead of time through the Northwest Arts Alliance website. Those under 16 are free, as well as Veterans with proof of military service. Upcoming on August 20-22 on the Everett waterfront, is the return of the Fresh Paint Arts Festival! This great show got cancelled last year due to Covid 19 precautions, but will be up and operational again this year. Please come visit and see the new work that I will have available! Looking for something to do next weekend? It will be sunny and a good time to be near the water! I will be participating in the craft market at Kirkland Uncorked next weekend and would love to see you there!

Kirkland Uncorked is Washington's summer wine festival. It's taking place July 14-16, 2017 in scenic Marina Park (25 Lakeshore Plaza Dr), the festival, a weekend long celebration of world-class Washington wineries, is a benefit for the Homeward Pet Adoption.

The festival is split into two parts, a 21+ Tasting Garden and an all ages Street Fair. The Tasting Garden features wine tasting, live music, a Friday Burger Brawl and a Saturday Grill-Off. The Street Fair features a Boat Show, the Uncorked Market, the CityDog Dog Modeling Contest, and a Saturday Food Truck Feast.

Kirkland Uncorked is a benefit for Homeward Pet Adoption Center. Homeward Pet Adoption Center is one of Washington State's leading non-profit, no-kill animal shelters. Located in Woodinville and serving the greater Seattle area, we help homeless animals from all over the state find new loving, caring homes. Since our founding in 1990, more than 25,000 animals have been given a second chance through our rescue, shelter and adoption programs. Homeward Pet relies on the hard work of our over 350 volunteers, and the generous support of our donors, to help over 1,600 dogs and cats find their forever homes each year.

Spring to Summer!!!
I’m pretty excited to get this year's show season started. I have a number of new pieces coming along and a few fanciful endeavors. I have a couple of new necklaces that celebrate summer, and I’m working on another fictitious creature for the upcoming Oddmall Show. I managed to acquire some really beautiful stones to work with this past winter/spring season and have been feeling very inspired to work with them.

Oddmall Emporium of the Weird - Everett Community College - June 24th and 25th - 2206 Tower Street, Everett, WA. Free parking and admission.

Kirkland Uncorked – July 14,15,16 th at 25 Lakeshore Plaza, in Kirkland, WA. Admission charge for wine and beer tasting, arts festival and craft market is free.

Fresh Paint – August 19-20th – At the Port of Everett Marina. 10AM to 5PM both days. Free admission and plenty of free parking

Just finished working on Lilit. She incorporates two pieces of very clear blue chalcedony - one of my most favorite gemstones. Here is her story card:

Lilit is a spirit with a gentle energy that feels kind of dreamy. she can help to balance between mind, body and spirit. She brings calm and peace that is reputed to reduce or negate hostility, anger, and irritation. She mystically soothes and fosters mental and emotional stability and can engender emotional honesty. She can also encourage and ease communication, particularly what would otherwise be emotionally charged communication. She can be an excellent aide for psychic work and skills of clairvoyance, intuition, and energy healing. Lilit eases self-doubt and brings a helpful peace to inner reflection. She can remove hostility and encourage a light-hearted optimism, calms and centers the emotional energy field. She is a great partner for those who tend to worry, by encouraging life in the present instead of projecting into an imaginary future. She also assists in calming those with bouts of irrational anger, fear, panic or anxiety, and helps those who speak too quickly before considering the impact their words have on others.

This is a new piece especially designed for the Oddmall Emporium. Meet Tobin:

Tobin is an odd and wondrous creature known for his ability to create havoc, pull off pranks and generally disrupt order. He shows up at unexpected times and can stimulate out of control laughter, giggling and silliness. He's generally fairly innocent in his endeavors, but usually not very responsible or sensitive to what's appropriate under the circumstances. He is excellent at hide and seek and will encourage frequent bouts of play and frivolity. He's basically a good guy, but don't expect him to keep you on the straight and narrow or even on time. Good when you need a little levity in an otherwise serious world.
