Diana is still here…

100+ days.
At this point we’ve stopped counting because honestly it’s getting a little embarrassing.

Let’s review Diana’s clearly terrible qualities:

• She’s sweet
• She does fine with other cats
• She mostly just wants a comfortable place to exist and someone to feed her

So obviously she’s completely unadoptable.

Diana is spayed, vet checked, current on vaccines and preventatives, and microchipped.

Her adoption fee is a whopping $65.

We know… try not to faint at the price.

If you’re looking for a cat that’s low drama, friendly, and already fully vetted, Diana is still here patiently waiting for someone to notice her.

Apparently patience is one of her strongest personality traits. 🐾

Pepper – 138 Days and Still Waiting

Pepper is currently the longest resident at the Sedalia Animal Shelter, with 138 days spent waiting for someone to notice him.

Pepper originally arrived as a surrender. Since then he has been neutered, vet checked, fully vaccinated, on preventatives, and microchipped, and has been patiently waiting for his chance at a home.

There’s often a belief that if adoption fees are lowered, dogs will quickly find homes. Pepper is a good reminder that it’s not always that simple. His adoption fee is just $65, and he was available throughout our $50 holiday adoption promotion — yet he received zero interest.

Pepper is an approximately 5.5-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix with a wonderful personality. During his time here he has participated in many playgroups and consistently does great with other dogs. He’s social, friendly, and truly enjoys the company of both people and other pups.

At this point, Pepper isn’t asking for much — just someone willing to give him the chance he deserves.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion and a dog who will appreciate a second chance, Pepper might be the perfect addition to your home.

HOW has Ozzy not been snatched up? 😻

Have you been looking for a kitty friend who is very independent, shy and might take a little bit to adjust to their forever home? Someone you will need to provide LOTS of patience and a quiet environment, lots of snacks and wet food to win their hearts?

Ozzy, the grey tuxedo, is a lover boy through and through. I’m not sure what life they may have had before but he’s READY for love and cuddles and snacks🐈‍⬛ he takes a day or two to warm up, but as soon as he does he is such a gentle soul. He loves to be loved on, and he loves a good bowl of wet food. A fairly quiet gentleman with great manners and a desire for companionship! He’s a purr machine, a belly rub lover, and keeps his coat just up to perfection so when you pet him, you just can’t get enough of his loves.

Altered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, given dewormer and kept on flea preventative.
