Hoppy Easter! This was in the days when parents were allowed to do dress up at schools. I always led the Easter parade! Then was told the bunny was a religious symbol and so I had to not do it anymore. Parents were offended. I don’t remember reading about the Easter bunny in The Bible.

I was dressed as a clumsy witch along with kindergarten teacher and we sang and danced around a cauldron being silly. Not scary. Then was told we couldn’t do that anymore. Kids parents said it was too scary and evil. the next year I dressed as a scarecrow with a happy little song and dance. I loved visiting the classrooms and making the children laugh. But the scarecrow was banned as well. Then birthday parties and all holiday celebrations. I’m Glad I got to enjoy my childhood with some fantasy play.

When it is Christmas Day and you are all alone it is okay to drink a pina colada by yourself. Still in your pajamas and Netflix on. And two dogs to curl up with.
