Contestant #2 - Delaney Bohach
Delaney is a proud third generation Nevadan, deeply rooted in Reno’s vibrant Western heritage and timeless traditions of the Silver State. As a dedicated advocate for youth development and equine excellence, she served as past President of the Washoe County 4-H Livestock Club, where she led initiatives to empower young members through hands-on learning in agriculture, leadership, and community service.
Delaney was also an active member of the 4-H High Sierra Riders horse club, where she competed in gymkhana, Western pleasure, and Western equitation events, demonstrating strong horsemanship skills and a commitment to sportsmanship.
Her commitment to mentoring extended to her role as a 4-H camp counselor, where she spent summers guiding and inspiring youth, helping them build confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love for the outdoors and animals.
A graduate of Southern Utah University, Delaney earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a minor in Animal Nutrition. During her time at SUU, she held leadership positions as Vice President of the Agriculture club, served as the University Farm lambing lead – overseeing critical animal care operations-and was a valued member of the SUU Rodeo Team, competing at the collegiate level and representing her school with poise and dedication.
With her background in rodeo, agriculture, and youth mentorship, Delaney is passionate about preserving Nevada’s cowboy culture and promoting the Reno Rodeo, the “Wildest Richest Rodeo in the West.” She is eager to serve as a year-round goodwill ambassador to share her enthusiasm for the Reno Rodeo, agriculture and the western way of life. Delaney looks forward to inspiring the next generation of young women to embrace leadership, resilience, and the joy of horsemanship while proudly representing her home town rodeo… the Reno Rodeo.
