Spring Stocking #2 This Saturday!

The Slate Run Brown Trout Club will be doing their second spring stocking this Saturday, April 11th!
Meet at Wolfe’s General Store at 10:00 AM
From there, you can:
• Jump in and help stock the trout
• Or follow the truck and enjoy watching the process along Pine Creek

The forecast is looking great, partly cloudy early then sun in the afternoon with a high of 57°. Perfect day to be outside!

Bring the kids, grab a coffee or a breakfast sandwich from Wolfe’s, and make a morning of it. It’s always a fun way to kick off the season and see the creek come to life again.

Welcome to Slate Run for
Opening Day Trout and Easter Weekend

We’re excited to welcome everyone back to Slate Run for a weekend filled with fishing, fresh mountain air, and time well spent along beautiful Pine Creek.

Whether you’re here chasing trout or simply enjoying a peaceful Easter weekend getaway, we’re so glad you made the trip. There’s nothing quite like this place.

Our Hours:
• Friday: 9am – 5pm
• Saturday (Opening Day): 8am – 5pm
• Easter Sunday: 8am – 3pm

The creek is running a bit high and we’re expecting off-and-on rain, so come prepared, but it should still be a great weekend to be on Pine Creek.

What an incredible day on “The Stretch” of Pine Creek!

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated to make our first stocking of the year possible. Your generosity helps keep this tradition alive.

We’re also so grateful to everyone who came out to help, whether you were carrying buckets, following the truck, or simply cheering it all on. It was amazing to see so many families, kids, and community members come together for something so special.

The sunshine, the smiles, and the excitement of seeing those trout hit the water made it a day we won’t forget.

Thank you all, we couldn’t do it without you!

We would also like to thank Bob Kozlowski for being our photographer for the day!

Brown Trout Stocking Reminder.

Join the Slate Run Brown Trout Club this Saturday, March 21st for our annual brown trout stocking!

Meet at Wolfe’s General Store
10:00 AM

From there, you can follow the stocking truck to nearby locations to help unload fish, or simply watch and enjoy.

🌤️ We’re looking at a beautiful day, mild temps with a mix of sun and clouds, perfect weather to be out along Pine Creek!

Families are welcome!
⚠️ Please note: Water levels are high and very cold, so children must be closely supervised at all times near the creek.
