Margaret Chase Smith was lauded and slammed by the political cartoonist in the 1950s and 1960s. This paperback looks at the most loved and laughed at!

I am processing a wonderful book collection from the artist Ned Jacob. Ned was a huge fan of fellow artist, Bettina Steinke. In 1973 Steinke painted a portrait of Barbara Stanwyck for the Cowboy Hall of Fame. During that process, she visited her subject at home, as was her custom. One book caught the artist's eye and she mentioned to Stanwyck that she loved this large format book of portraits of the West. In January of 1974 Barbara Stanwyck signed the book and presented it to Bettina as a gift. The portrait hangs in the Cowboy Hall of Fame and the book is offered for sale by the Collection Buyer.

I have so much fun with ebay! Today a customer was making a multiple item purchase. She sent her wishlist to me. Among the delicate selections, was a 10 pound accordion. I said that I hoped she didn't want it packed with the breakable stuff! She laughed and said no. She does have accordion envy. Her daughter is in Paris, and she sent this photo of an accordion player on the streets of Paris. So I took my accordion and attempted to re-create the photo for her. How did I do?
