Just in time for Christmas….
This is an extra saddle that I threw into the mix with my regular customer orders and it’s available today to go into the pasture or the arena. It’s made on a heavy Olin Young tree, 15” seat, 3 1/2” cantle. Comes with Veach style stirrup buckles that won’t wear out, partially covered overshoe stirrups, and a heavy
4 1/2”flank girth, long saddle strings, with polished stainless conchos.

Howdy, folks. It’s been a while since I’ve posted any pictures, so I thought I would show a few of my recent builds. Thanks to my son-in-law, Stacy Bower, for his help with most of the tooling.

Here are a few pics of some saddles I made over the summer. I don’t spend much time on Facebook, so I’m a little behind on posting them. Anyway, they range from ranch saddles to a tripper, and team ropers. Thanks for looking. Now, back to work….

This full roughout saddle went out a week ago. It’s made on a Lewis Association tree with leg cuts. Herrman Oak leather used throughout. The riggings are drop plate style and the skirts are lined with premium wool. To finish things out, it has a 14 1/2” padded seat, machine stitched borders and custom conchos.
Thanks to Tim and Shane Brown for the contact and to Quisto Lopez for the order.

I’m playing catch-up with my pictures…
Here is another saddle that I completed at the end of November along with the other two that I posted yesterday. It’s a steer tripper made on a stout Lewis tree with a Duggan style front. Hermann Oak leather was used throughout, and the skirts are lined with 5/8” thick Diamond Wool felt. The rope-stamped and machine stitched border added a nice touch. Brown kangaroo lace was used to install the half-cut padded seat. The front rigging dees and conchos were made by Leo Campbell. The rear riggings are all leather and rawhide lined. Finishing things out are doubled and stitched flank billets, a smooth out cantle binder, and a nylon horn burner. Thanks to Bradley Bougner for the order.
