our BAGGU collection in Skaneateles got a bit of a glow up ✨
We’ve increased our inventory and selection - and have a dedicated BAGGU wall so browsing (and choosing!) is made easier- it’s all online too!

as we get ready to celebrate our 10th DROOZ Birthday in September, I’ve been reminiscing about “windows past”. The first slide was our very first window at 36 East Genesee st. (So fresh we didn’t even have our DROOZ signage yet!)

to the last slide (one of my all time favorites!)… painted by chloe strang and me;) it was very early COVID -we were shut down to the public. ….” today was DROOZ art project day. we created. we played with color. we painted happy, pretty, blooming images on the windows. it was a great day. productive and therapeutic. we papered the windows on the outside so we had the illusion of a nice white visual space to create on. we spent hours drawing it all out, and then “reverse painted” the many layers of colors-letting each layer dry before we added another. we blasted the music and ate sour gummies. we sat in those windows the entire day working on our creation. we loved seeing you walk by- doggie noses at our glass door, kids racing scooters, the little sisters who watched us paint- walked away, and then kept running back to see our progress... (they said they’d be back tomorrow to see the final product). we got waves, knocks, hellos, friends blowing kisses, and masked faces giving us “thumbs up” for our creative efforts. It was just what we needed.” - April 2020

We’ve carried since day one of DROOZ (almost 10 years!) We can’t keep these surprise balls in stock! A cultural icon, originally a popular toy in the 1950s. Unwind colorful layers of crepe paper ribbon to reveal many fun treasures inside this festival ball! Surprises include vintage inspired toy, crystal, temporary tattoo, sweet, crown, game and more! Surprise Balls come in different shapes and sizes…each containing a particular number of treasures.
