"Rest in Hell, Soapy" is both an original illustration of Soapy Smith's skull and a hallucinatory Symbolist poem in the style of Rimbaud's 'The Drunken Boat,' striving to tell Jeff Smith's entire life story in 47 lines. The poem on the back of the t-shirt has taken more than 7 years to write and is the result of telling Soapy's story graveside, hundreds and hundreds of times, in Skagway's Gold Rush Cemetery.

There was some smoke yesterday about my designs being AI, which is fun for me because my work is 100% by hand, so it's easy to show you my work.
