I found this old elf riding his polar bear in my way-back machine. (Think cardboard box in the shed way out back.) At least part of it. There were parts missing, as happens after a quarter century living with mice and bats and other critters. So I gave him a new base, a new mitten, new eyes and fresh coat of paint. Oh, and the bear cub in the side basket. She’d been hanging around the shop for a while, looking for a ride.
