Tonight I took a “literal” minute for myself and slathered up my legs, ankles and feet with my best buddy, No Flare.
I know so many of you have found relief from aches, pains, sports and operation recovery with this gentle relief balm ❤️🩹
No flare has sold out every week so far this summer…no surprise!
Little known fact about me: I was born with club foot 🦶
A congenital defect that affects 1 in 1,000 people at birth. Pretty common actually, but honestly, I have never met another person with this condition.
A club foot is usually twisted or turned in such a way that it requires extensive surgery and therapies from a very young age. I was a Shriners Hospital kid, and am so grateful the surgeons I had from birth to 5 were so skilled and caring. My case is a very successful one, but does hold its own hardships.
My right foot is a whole size smaller than my left! My right calf isn’t as muscular as my left and I often experience back, hip and sciatic pain because of the uneven work load my legs, ankles and feet carry.
It really doesn’t slow me down…until it does 😅🫠
A few years ago I was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disorder that attacks the joints which left untreated can also reach your heart and lungs. I have been able to manage this disorder for nearly a decade, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t have some rough days. Days that bring stiffness, pain and a feeling of defeat.
These are some of the *millions* of reasons why I dove into nature’s healing ways and have been able to stave off of a plethora of pharmaceuticals and medications 💊
Sometimes I need the extra help of a steroid or antibiotic, no shame here. I will say though, my quality of life has been positively impacted by the herbal components of my own healing balms 🙌 I really can’t think of the last time I was extensively x-rayed or put on hard medications.
All this to say…Arnica flower has been a game changer and I know so many of you also rely on this gently comforting balm🖤
