We are so proud to feature Randi Sussman, one of our long-standing, original artisans here at Gather on Hopmeadow! 🧵🎨

Her business, Sew What, brings incredible warmth and craftsmanship to our shop with handcrafted cotton rope creations. From colorful coiled trivets and catch-all rope baskets to glasses holders and 100% cotton rope sourdough proofing baskets (complete with washable linen liners!), every piece is functional, beautifully stitched, and made to last.

Fall is just around the corner, and we're so excited to begin another session of our Homeschool Art & STEM program!

At Gather, we believe that creativity and curiosity go hand in hand. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, encouraging environment where children can explore, create, ask questions, and build confidence through hands-on learning.

Our theme this Fall is How Art Tells Stories. Each week, we'll explore a different folktale or legend from around the world and create artwork inspired by the story while learning about artists, traditions, and art techniques from different cultures.

Our STEM projects will connect with each week's theme as well, giving the students opportunities to design, build, and solve challenges inspired by the stories we're exploring.

​Join us tomorrow, Saturday, August 8th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a special Feature Artist Saturday featuring Emily Pacheco of Emi-Sue Creations!

​Meet the artist behind the magic! Emily is a local fluid artist known for her vibrant acrylic paint pours finished with a high-gloss resin seal. Driven by a passion to bring color to life in every form—and ensure no paint goes to waste—she crafts striking canvas art as well as unique, wearable jewelry made directly from recycled paint drips.

​✨ Hands-On Activity: Not only can you browse her beautiful creations, but you'll also get the chance to make your very own paint-poured creation to take home!
