🎵 Community Shoutout! 🪕

This Sunday, May 17th, our local music community is heading out to the incredible Topanga Banjo Fiddle Festival at King Gillette Ranch!

We are incredibly proud to cheer on Eric Johansen of Fish Musical Instruments—a fantastic friend to the local music scene—who will be there as an official event exhibitor! If you've been looking for a masterfully crafted instrument or just want to talk shop with a pro, Eric’s booth is a absolute must-visit.

The festival is an amazing, family-friendly day packed with 5 stages of live music, instrument petting zoos, food trucks, and incredible luthiers and artisans. Grab the family, bring your lawn chairs, and come celebrate live music with us!

We’re live at the Grand Rally for Music Education where The Roots of Music NOLA and Girls Make Beats are absolutely crushing "Superstition" with some help from a couple of friends... Victor Wooten and Chad Smith! 🥁🎸
This is the power of music education in action—bridging the gap between legends and the leaders of tomorrow. Watching these young women from Girls Make Beats and the brass powerhouse of NOLA hold their own with the best in the world is truly inspiring.

We’re starting our Saturday at the Grand Rally for Music Education, and The Roots of Music just took the stage. Seeing these young musicians from NOLA bring that incredible soul and precision to Anaheim is the highlight of the show so far.
This is what it’s all about—empowering the next generation through music. We are feeling incredibly inspired to bring this energy back to our community at Stage 1 Music!

Tonight at , we took a break from the gear and the booths to join the Annual NAMM Drum Circle. It was a powerful reminder that music is the ultimate universal language.
Hundreds of people—regardless of race, gender identity, religion, background, or any other perceived “barrier”—came together to create one collective rhythm.
At Stage 1 Music, we believe music possesses a remarkable power to heal and bring peace to places where there is hurt and division. Seeing it happen in real-time here in Anaheim is something we’ll never forget. 🕊️🎸

We’re at the Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage watching the phenomenon that is Matteo Mancuso. Seeing his fingerstyle technique in person is a total game-changer—no pick, just pure precision and soul.
