Greetings from the White Christmas Tree Farm & Nursery in Silverton!

As we honor all veterans today and thank them for their service, I need to let our tree farm followers know that the tree farm will be closed to the public again this year. Our tree inventory of 5-8 foot trees remains low and is not sufficient to meet our normal public choose & cut demand.

However, we will continue to provide our tree delivery, set up, and take down service for your home or business. We can still provide a freshly cut Douglas, Grand, or Nordmann fir, up to 8 feet, for a nominal fee of $75.00 and all you do is provide the stand😊

Greetings from the White Christmas Tree Farm & Nursery!

I wanted to let everyone know that the tree farm will not be open to the public this year as our tree inventory for trees in the 6-8 feet size category is not large enough to meet past harvest levels of demand. We will open to the public again as soon as our tree inventory is sufficient to provide the selection needed to meet our customer demand.

However, we will continue our tree set up service for homes and businesses in our area this year. We will set up and take down a Christmas tree, up to 8 feet tall, for your home or business in November/December 2024. Total cost is $75.00 which includes set up, take down, and haul away after the holidays. You provide the stand and we will provide a freshly cut Douglas, Nordmann, or Grand fir Christmas tree for your home or business.

A limited supply of larger trees is available. Call for sizes and prices.

Thanksgiving is a week away which means the tree farm will be open from 10 am - 4 pm on Friday, November 25th, the day after Thanksgiving. For a complete schedule of days and times of operation, go to our website at www.whitechristmastreefarm.com.

Preparations are well underway as the signs are up, the bailer has new netting, and the candy canes arrived via UPS last week. We will also be setting up our pre-cut tree racks with 6-7’ Nobile fir delivered the day before Thanksgiving.

Tree varieties this year include Douglas fir, Noble fir, Grand fir, Nordmann fir, and a few Concolor (White fir). Choose & Cut prices will be $50 for trees up to 7’... $60 for trees 7-9’... $60 for pre-cut Noble fir 6-7’... and $70 for trees over 9’.

Profits after expenses from weekend sales will be shared again this year with the SHS Skills USA

Spring bud break is underway in 2022 helping to heal the damage from 117 degree heat event at the end of June in 2021. Many of the older trees are recovering quite nicely and the younger trees, planted over the last three years, are coming back as well. Our El Niño Spring weather has also been very beneficial! Looking forward to a solid summer growing season:-)
