A new kiln to bring into kiln operations. Appreciate that this was made available to us so we can continue to enhance our offerings and kid programs.

The main goal of setup at this location was to create continuous firing. Meaning there is no wait times for kilns to take on work loads. This takes many kilns, a well thought out electrical plan, and lots of staggering of firings.

My goal was to create a process that was seemless from in the door and out the door which alot of places will do by stacking more time against the firing process. Longer wait times.

The goal to be lighting fast and start to run with in days was real and achivable.

It is also a very unique setup and maybe just maybe the only one in the state that leverages this many kilns to achive the service level Elston House works to achive.

More to come on enhancements.

They called him the Cobalt Kid, a slick gunslinger known far and wide for his striking blue footwear. While he was lightning-fast with a pistol, he was equally famous for his sharp sense of fashion.

​Instead of the traditional "Yee-haw," his signature catchphrase was a stylish "Haw-yee!"

Local folks claimed his real boots looked exactly like the one.

We have pitched our camp for the Gold Rush Days down by the banks of the Gold Stream. Follow the main trail past the first ancient oak tree; from there, look for the locust tree situated exactly ten paces to the right of the towering pine. You shall find us in its shade.

Pardon our dust.

But as we start to offer more, changes have to be made from what was to what will be.

This is one of the first stages of rework with in our processes. So glazes will be under some maintenance the next couple days.

But to keep up on Elston House's pace there is a bunch of changes that need to be made.

Free event Gold rush days this weekend.

Elston House will be down there for the medalions painting event with the assistance of Rotary Club Cheyenne County Rotary Club helping us run this.

But we had horses and western themed items (to be expected). Super cool little items to paint however got to talking and figured its 250 years so let's pivot quickly and roll something out.

Three new items will be down there. A flag, eagle and the United States that can be hung or magnets added.
