Shreveport Police Homicide investigators are investigating the murder of a man in west Shreveport this past weekend.

On August 23, 2021, just after 5:30 a.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting that just occurred in the 300 block of West 74th Street. Arriving officers located 25-year-old Brennan Johnson inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. He was pronounced deceased on scene.

Detectives with the Homicide and Crime Scene Investigation Units responded and began their investigation. CSIU photographed the scene and collected evidence while investigators canvassed the neighborhood and spoke with witnesses and family members. Detectives learned that the decedent is known by the name “Pooh” or “Poo”. Investigators have also released information that Johnson was dressed in women’s clothing when he was found deceased. He did identify as a gay man and investigators are working to determine if that could have been a factor in his murder.

The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office took custody of the decedent and an autopsy was conducted.

Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers will pay a minimum of $2,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual(s) responsible for Johnson’s murder.

A powerful movement orchestrated and led by God, I am only the vessel. The location for this occasion is 2610 Jewella Ave. 71109, right behind the Suave House/LEGACY Barbershop.
I will be releasing 43 balloons which is my current age. A balloon released for each year. This is the beginning of the celebration of My Exodus from painful past experiences, hurt, abuse, self-sabotage, and being my biggest critic. These 43 balloons will signify my deliverance from the old me to the brand new me. A journey introduced and detailed in my new upcoming book entitled, “Become Your Reality”.
This book also allows me the opportunity to help others realize that their past experiences, their pain, and their suffering does not define who they are. This I demonstrate from my own REAL LIFE stories in my book. It is my hope that through my testimonies, many may find their own true inner strengths to overcome all odds and obstacles. You cannot imagine the walls and strongholds that had to be broken. Sometimes we feel like it is the end of the world and want to just give up all hope. But I'm here to tell you not so!
It is truly an honor being a willing vessel that the Creator could use for this mission. This was a painful journey, but my cup had to be completely emptied out from past experiences, pain, fear, rejections, heartbreak, all obstacles, barriers, disappointments, sadness, and fear. Not just for my own deliverance, but also that I may help deliver many others out there who are suffering from the same type of situations in their lives.
Defeat is not an option. From this book and this movement as a whole, I plan to help and show others who are lost or in need how to learn who they are, how to love themselves, how to heal themselves, how to find their purpose in life, and how to create the reality they truly deserve. Its time out for looking at and desiring everyone else's realities. It is time to create your own. So you can… “Become Your Reality!”
