Griffin's Glassworks

Griffin's Glassworks Hi, I'm Warren. I enjoy making art with glass including stained glass, winchimes, and crafts. Thanks! Griffin's Glassworks is named after our dachshund Griffin.

He inspired my first stained glass creation. I enjoy working with glass to create art and like to use upcycled glass bottles in my pieces.

Come out and see Griffin's Glassworks and all of the other vendors at Black Bayou Festival for a good time.

All smiles over here! Check out this handmade stained glass mouth suncatcher, and I can't get over how vibrant that red glass looks out in the sun. It's the perfect mix of bold, quirky, and fun.

Eco-friendly art with a touch of Disney magic. This piece started its life as the punt (the bottom) of a green wine bottle. After some precise cutting and a high-heat trip into the kiln, it melted down into this perfectly smooth, glossy disc featuring everyone's favorite mouse.Upcycling glass is always a fun challenge, and turning everyday trash into a custom suncatcher/ornament makes it even better. What kind of bottle should I try upcycling next?

Turning trash into treasure. This peace sign suncatcher was handmade using the bottom of a recycled wine bottle. The natural curve and thickness of the bottle glass create the perfect, rich olive-amber tone when the light hits it. Simple, sustainable, and full of good vibes.

I upcycled old amber beer bottles to create this handmade stained glass football suncatcher. It is the perfect way to bring a little team spirit into your windows while keeping glass out of the landfill.Catching the light never looked so sporty!

Check out this handmade stained glass open-book suncatcher! I chose a beautiful, textured wispy blue glass for the cover to mimic the feel of an old favorite novel, paired with opaque white glass for the pages turning in the light. With school starting, this makes the perfect, unique appreciation gift for teachers, librarians, or any book club bestie in your life! Hang it in a sunny window and watch the colors dance.

Come out and see me.

From celebratory bubbles to a beautiful kitchen spoon rest. I took an iconic Perrier-Jouët Champagne bottle and gave it a "second act" in the kiln.
