A Quick Estate Sale Parking Reminder 🚗

After our recent sale in the gated community of Azalea Gardens, I spent some time thinking about how best to address a situation that has become more noticeable lately — parking etiquette at estate sales.

We have been fortunate to welcome many new customers, along with the wonderful regulars who have supported Estate Pros for years. We truly appreciate each of you who takes the time to attend our sales.

At the Azalea Gardens sale, we experienced more vehicles blocking mailboxes and driveways than we have ever seen before. Although we were not required to do so, we hired a deputy to help manage traffic so things would run smoothly and to ensure we remained respectful of the surrounding neighbors. Communities like this understandably expect their streets to remain accessible for residents, mail delivery, and emergency vehicles.

With that in mind, we wanted to share a few reminders for anyone attending estate sales, particularly in gated residential neighborhoods:

🚗 Please do not block mailboxes, driveways, or intersections
🚗 Please observe posted parking signs and neighborhood restrictions
🚗 Please leave room for residents and emergency vehicles to pass
🚗 Be aware that in some communities vehicles may be ticketed, fined, or towed

Estate Pros works hard to maintain strong relationships with the neighborhoods and communities that allow us to host our sales. In some cases we are required to provide security or traffic control, and local authorities may enforce parking regulations to protect residents.

Our goal is always to create a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while also being respectful neighbors in the communities where we conduct our sales.

We’re happy to share this invitation on behalf of our own Vicki LeBrun and our longtime friend and customer Debbie Bryant to tour the historic Logan Mansion during two guided evening events on February 6th & 7th, from 6:00–8:00 PM.

Guests will enjoy an evening exploring one of Shreveport’s most iconic historic homes, learning about its architectural beauty and fascinating past. The tours will feature special guest Vicki LeBrun, who offers a unique and personal perspective on the mansion’s history.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes preparing a beautiful Spring Lake home filled with classic furnishings, decorator pieces, and creative treasures — and we couldn’t wait to share a few early glimpses.

From a light-filled garden room overlooking the deck and backyard complete with patio dining set, Baker’s rack, and charming accents, to traditional furnishings like a Welsh dresser, English leather-top desk, continental bookcase, and elegant armoires — this home has a warm, layered, lived-in feel we love.

There’s also a spacious arts & crafts room packed with inspiration for makers, artists, and creatives. And this is just a preview — there’s much more!

Thirty-five years ago, we began our work in the auction industry. Over time, that work grew into guiding families through important life transitions, moments they knew would come, but were never fully prepared to navigate.
