And - all in one incredible neighborhood!! That's a lot of exclamation points!!!! (I may have had an extra Alterra coffee this morning)

Yo Mama frozen yogurt, Indulgence Chocolatiers, Elements East and Performance Running Outfitters fill out the ground floor and there are 20 luxury apartments upstairs. This has become one of Milwaukee's truly great neighborhoods. Life is at your fingertips...

Cars fill the parking spaces on the street, guests fill the restaurants. The block north of Kensington Blvd. is booming with businesses that have opened in the past year or so:

North Star American Bistro takes up spacious new digs at the Cornerstone building, where Thief wine store and bar and an Alterra coffeehouse also set up shop.

Nearby, the building under construction will house a Yo Mama frozen yogurt shop and Indulgence Chocolatiers' first storefront, come summer."

The Cornerstone is NOT on the fringe. Indeed, according to this article, things will just keep on getting better in our neighborhood!

As demand for housing in walkable neighborhoods rises, we should be investing in carless transit options.
