Musical Instrument Repair Apprentice
Independent Music Service is looking for a dedicated full-time team member to join our repair shop and launch a career in the musical instrument industry. We are looking for a hands-on "tinkerer" who is passionate about the trade and ready to learn from the best.
What We Offer:
• Professional Mentorship: Train directly under four expert technicians with decades of combined experience.
• Stable Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Career Growth: We provide extensive on-the-job training for those committed to mastering the craft.
What We’re Looking For:
• A strong desire to build a long-term career in Instrument Repair and Restoration.
• Previous repair experience or technical training is preferred, but not required—we will train the right person.
• A musical background (playing an instrument) is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
