Money can be an awkward conversation - but I'm not trying to maximize your spend and make as much as I can, I promise. By letting your florist - hairdresser - baker - whatever know how much you have to spend, it allows the professionals to do their best job within the full scope of the ask.

This could have been designed in so many different budgets - but knowing where the client needed to be helped me choose smart options for that budget.

A friend recently told me that clarity is kindness - it also helps you get exactly what you want and need.

Back to school special!!!!!!!!!!

Thank your teachers for the busy year ahead with a thoughtful gift from you and your little one - choose from either the full gift package or a simple bud vase. This elderberry syrup is locally made using elderberries from our farm as part of our new collaboration with our sister business Windward Harvest, and it's a perfect boost to keep that back to school immune system working overtime.

I love when I've been in such a groove that I realize I haven't posted in weeks - we've been busy soaking up every last minute of summer, planning for the wedding season ahead, and collaborating in new ways with friends and the community. Here are some updates:

🚌 BACK TO SCHOOL flowers for your teachers and admins - give them something beautiful to welcome them back to the school year and just let them know they're appreciated. It's tough getting back into the groove, and they'll be busy taking care of your little one all year long. Priced at $20-$30, order by DM or call the shop!
🎨Our first Petals and Brushstrokes Watercolor Series was a HUGE success and I couldn't be happier with the new studio space. payton cardis art was channeling her best Bob Ross, and I don't know if I've ever seen a group so focused and in the zone. Our next session is Saturday September 19th, from 1-3. Tickets for the first class sold out in just 24 hours, so snag your spot early.
🫶 We met a ton of lovely couples at the The Venue by Brix27 wedding expo today and dates are starting to book for 2027. As a reminder, we service a 2 hour radius from Shepherdstown, and we take weddings of all shapes and sizes. If you have a special date on the horizon, we should talk sooner than later.

Our wedding season starts this weekend and we're booked through until Thanksgiving - send coffee (Black Mountain Roasters I'm looking at you), love, and good vibes. We're ready for you lovely brides!

Some of us are making hay today, others are making flowers. Either way... Both are incredibly on brand for the holiday weekend!

Windward has first cut for sale again and some super cheap and still solid 2025 bales. If you need some good old fashioned not fancy but nutritious and well made hay, give us a shout. If your barnyard friend is a super picky eater and you want to know the ratio of grass species in the hay... We're not going to be your ideal hay farmer.

We're here for Friday Unwind and Garden Lounging this evening no matter what the temps are!

Is it the fourth of July without a heatwave? I think probably not - and we're ready for all the BBQ's, pool time, yard games and time spent with friends and family! We had our most attended Friday Unwind EVER last Friday - it was great to see so many new faces and watch everyone enjoy the farm together!

Two new dates posted, July 3rd and July 24th. We'll be doing some special patriotic bouquets on 7/3 for the fourth of July.
