Found this today at a Goodwill. Wow! Does this take me back. published in 1982, just a couple of years before the release of the Apple MacIntosh (1984) and then Microsoft Windows (1985)

Diane and I visited the revamped Peabody Museum today. Lots of fun. Brought back memories of going as a kid, and then later taking my kids.

Very cool estate sale find today. George Fred Tilton was a whale boat captain who ended his 40 plus year career by helping to refurbish the Charles W. Morgan. This whaling ship is now moored at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, CT. This is his autobiography, and it is signed and inscribed by him.

Beautiful poetry book of Longfellow's early poetry. Stuffed inside were a feather (check out the green), a new baby card,va post card for the new year, and a silk bookmark.all the items are from the 1880s/18890s.
