🏕️Campbell Point Campground is remaining OPEN until further notice. The weather is absolutely perfect, don’t let the government shut down keep you away.
We understand how much recreation, whether it’s camping, boating, fishing, or just spending time outdoors means to all of you, and we’re committed to keeping you informed as we navigate the lapse in appropriations.
Our goal is to keep the parks and recreation areas we manage open to the public as long as possible. This will depend on available funding and staffing. We will do our best to announce closures if/when they are required.
In the event a park closes, you will receive a cancellation email and a refund via Recreation One Stop.
We will continue to operate and maintain critical services like locks, dams, hydropower facilities and navigation systems which are vital to national security and the economy.
During this time, our communications will be limited to operational changes, emergency support and critical mission updates.
