I’ve been quiet recently, trying to regroup on the best option for The Bird! While I’m still open to do all plant things I have decided to donate all the plants and inventory in The Bird to the Give a Chance Boutique to benefit Tyson's Chance Animal Foundation! The plant business drastically slowed down after Covid and I have decided to just continue it as a hobby, but not a separate business. I’m still here to help everyone out with learning how to care for their houseplants and rehabilitating sad plants! We’re actually moving the shop a block up the road very soon. We will still have plants for sale and continue being a resource for all of you green thumbs so stay tuned!

I’m so thankful to everyone that came and supported me last weekend! You guys really knew how to buy some plants ha ha! I’ve brought in a few more, and will continue to over the next couple of weeks, including some rehab deals. Today I put out a lot of pots, catch trays, propagation vessels, etc. And our free table is completely full of knickknacks! We will be here from 11 to 5 tomorrow! Come see us 💚

Unfortunately the Bird sustained major water damage last weekend. We lost many of our display shelves and inventory. Things are looking a little different but we will reopen for business tomorrow! Things are set up yard sale style at the moment! Tables and shelves are labeled to reflect the price of all items on them. Everything is heavily discounted, FREE-$20. I feel I need to thin out inventory and then decide how to proceed. Between losing a week of business due to cleanup and losing so much stuff this has been a huge blow to my tiny business. Please consider coming by Friday or Saturday from 11-5 to support! 💚

Two empty pots and 2 plants that needed some love. We picked out plants together to create new additions to the house. The Peace Lily and Thanksgiving Cactus were designed as custom pieces and then the Sansevieria and BOP got a much needed spa day! Let me help you with all of your plant needs!

Chopping and propagating tonight. My “pink” princess has always been this beautiful black color and she is so unique. I got her back before they were popular so who knows but she’s not a kroger gal…I’d rather call her a chocolate cherry 😂. I cut a section into chonks and they’re going in the prop box tomorrow afternoon, but if anyone would like to purchase a node and grow yourself, let me know! I also chopped up a section of my mottled dragon. Some of these guys have a leaf. Available tomorrow only as fresh cuts from 2-5…Message to reserve one!
