It's time to sneak in a little Top 10 action! Have we been lax in our reportage lately? NEXT QUESTION!
Here's your gentle reminder that this list is based solely on sales at the shop this week.
10. Marc Spector Moon Knight #4: On the one hand, this one suprised us; on the other hand, the Moon Knight line continues to do well despite all the series starts and stops.
9. She-Spawn: This is like one of the moments when a surprise slam dunk somes out of nowhere and shakes the arena to the rafters. and who's that with the mad skills: GAIL SIMONE! This one was an instant sell out, despite the fact that we ordered up due to the GS factor.
8. Fantastic Four #10: So good to see the First Family in the Top 10!
7. Ghost Machine Official Guidebook #2: So. Much. Fun.
6. Absolute Green Lantern #14: Wanna be in the Top 10? But "Absolute" before your name. Also, be written by Al Ewing.
5. X-Men #29: Both halves of the X-Universe continue to do well.
4. Daredevil #2: Gozarians are really digging the new series thus far.
3. Absolute Superman #19: See note above, swap "Al Ewing" for "Jason Aaron."
2. Amazing Spider-Man #28: There was no lull after the end of the Death Spiral story for our webspinner, but there also wasn't enough of a surge to catch....
1. Batman #9: Guys, I think Matt Fraction might be onto something here.
Our Hidden Gem of the week goes to If Destruction Be Our Lot, which is Ye Olde Shopkeep's favorite book of the week. Wanna see a grown shopkeeper cry? Just put some robots in danger. He literally can't take it, AND YET cannot stop himself from continuing to read. It's really something, Gozarians. Really something. Anyway, this one is well-worth your time: Animatronic Abe Lincoln wanders a world populated by robots, looking for all the missing humans. COME ON.
