I just love these cute books and each one is so unique and different!
The story corner shop will be selling golden books from 1940’s-1990’s. We will also have some newer ones being sold too.

I hope you are as excited as I am as we are getting closer and closer to opening the store!

Calico Critters!!🐰🐶

Hey guys! I’m so excited to show you these super cute animal figures! Calico Critters also known as “Sylvanian families” were first introduced in Japan in 1985. They are so much fun for children to play with or even to have as collectibles!

The wild wood brown rabbit family was one of the first original sylvanian families that were made in Japan.
The grey cat Harvey family was also another Sylvanian family that came out in 2012.
Lastly, we have the dog puppies that was also another sylvanian family.

We will be selling these sweet little family’s along with the houses and other furniture and accessories!🏡🐈

The story corner shop will not only have lots of books, but we will also have fun hobbies for all to enjoy! These classic Disney records will be for sale. The Chronicles of Narnia and the Lord of the Rings series will be in the shop! The chronicles of Narnia was written by C.S Lewis in 1950-1956. These are the original books that were first printed. I loved the movies growing up and when I got married, I listened to these on audio with my husband on our road trips! The Lord of the Rings was written by J.R.R. Tolkien in 1954, but this series was published in 1982. These are also very well made movies loved by many. My husband enjoys listening to these stories on audio! Who else enjoys these fantasy filled adventurous books!?

I’m excited to share some of my items that I will be using in my store! Most of these items are thrifted or from online. I love wood anything especially when it comes to decor. These beautiful bookends will be used in the story corner shop along with the wooden crate and book stand. We will also be selling the vintage books in the pictures and the children’s raggedy ann books.

If you are looking for a fun mystery series to go through, mandie is for you! I did not grow up with these books, but I read the first couple and I was glued to them. They are so good! Lois Gladys Leopard wrote these starting in 1983 until the early 2000’s. There is 40 books total. They are fun, but also have really good life lessons in them. It focuses a lot on how much God cares for us and how we can trust in Him. I would definitely recommend this series to young teens and even adults who would enjoy them too, just like me!

For those who grew up with curious George or your kids are now reading them, you will love these books! I have some vintage ones from 1952 and 1958 and I also have some from the 80’s. Curious George was one of my favorites and I hope others will continue to enjoy this curious little monkey!
