Weaving is so full of options that sometimes I don’t know what I want to do. So I pick a few colors and just make it happen. Always a surprise the outcome! This one is beautiful!
I will be teaching weaving again this summer at Sugar Maples in Maplecrest. Beginning May 29th for 8 weekly sessions. Come and be inspired ….Learning how to choose colors, wind a warp, dress the loom and then the actual weaving becomes like the icing on the cake! A little bit of math and a whole lot of creative fun. Whether you are new to weaving or need some refreshing guidance…this is a great course to get you on your way!

Last day of our Catskill Fiber Celebration. 10-4 in shokan. It’s been an amazing weekend of folks supporting local artists. Great place to stop by on a rainy day! Hot cider and coffee is on to warm you while you wander through our handmade goods.

New beginner Rug Hooking pattern for my upcoming workshop on Oct 28 & 29, in my Shandaken Studio.
It’s All About Color. Rug hooking is an art form that uses wool to create pictures. This kit is based off a primitive rug, one that I admired. Using dyed wool specifically for these flowers and a quiet backround makes this picture come alive. Come learn about color and how they create a work of art. Beginners and those already hooked welcome.

Sat Dec 10th from 11-3 in Shandaken, I am open for a studio sale. I’m offering 20% and fiber related finished items. This percentage would be my cost involved if I was at a show and since it’s my studio…..scarves, hats, shawls, handspun yarns, goat milk soap and lotions, holiday ornaments and more.

What an incredibly beautiful day! I am at the Clermont Historical estate at a small festival called. No sheep no wool. Haha. Definitely have wool here. Nothing like a day off next to the Hudson spinning for the day! Thank you Patrice for the wheel for the day! And thanks to the friends of clermont for this event
