Sure, she occasionally asks everyone to stop what they’re doing for “just one quick photo.”

And yes, there may have been a few requests to move an instrument three inches to the left because “the lighting is better.”

Seems like a fair trade 🤷🏻‍♀️

This week, Lauralee is in D.C. doing BIG things ➡️ Today included spending the day at McKinley Technology High School speaking with students about the many paths a future in music can take beyond performance and teaching.

Alongside Miss America Cassie Donegan and Lee Hirschmann of The Band Shoppe, she spoke with students about the creative, business, and industry opportunities that help keep the music world moving every single day.

Because the future of music needs more than performers. ⤵️

The Selmer Paris Saxophone Road Show was fantastic! 🎷

From the incredible live performances by Valentin Kovalev and Aiwen Zhang to the opportunity for students and players to explore and test a wide range of Selmer Paris saxophones, mouthpieces, and accessories, the entire event was filled with energy, inspiration, and a true love for music.

We loved seeing so many musicians, educators, and students come together at Eastern Regional High School to learn, play, and connect. Events like this are such an important reminder of how powerful music education and hands-on experiences can be!

A huge thank you to Conn Selmer District Sales Manager T.J. Waicul, the talented musicians named above, and our host Kathy Mitchell and Eastern Regional High School. We’re grateful to have shared this experience with such an enthusiastic and talented community.
