Let's talk Rough Ryder Reserve knives for a minute this morning. We're building this premium "Reserve" line based around what you all tell us and what the market seems to want and need. After Round 1 (Triple-R 001-004), we got a ton of great feedback from you, and we pushed that into the build of the knives in Round 2 (Triple-R 005-008).

One of the things we heard over and over is that you all loved the heavy pull and the walk and talk of the first round. The issue with heavy snap is protecting that blade edge for those of us who love to hear that snap and slap our knives shut like cavemen to make it happen. To do that, we've incorporated stop pins into most of the blades in all future series, including Round 2 knives and any knife we remake from Round 1 with new materials.

The second release of Rough Ryder Reserve has begun. Triple-R 005 and 008 are in stock. The 006 and 007 (pictured) are on their way, but still in transit. As soon as these arrive and clear customs, we'll let you know.

The Rough Ryder Reserve Bar Back was designed by Andy Armstrong and features a 2.35" D2 Tool Steel Wharncliffe main blade with a unique cap lifter spine. It allows you to pop a top without ever opening your traditional pocket knife. It also features a secondary Spear Point blade, and both brushed satin finish blades have deep swedging, half stops, and match strike pulls. The handles are black canvas micarta with brushed stainless steel bolsters, brass liners, and nickel silver pins and the Triple-R Arrowhead shield*. It's 3.625" closed, 6" with the main blade fully open and has a lanyard tube. It comes packed in collectible Rough Ryder Reserve Tube Tin and includes a Rough Ryder microfiber cleaning cloth.
