Where are our local bakers?

We will be hosting a pie baking contest at our Annual Harvest Festival!

Pie Baking Contest Rules

Eligibility:
The contest is open to all amateur bakers. Professional bakers are not eligible to participate.

Pie Ingredients:
Pies can be entered in the following categories: Fruit Pies, Cream/Custard Pies, and Nut Pies. No store-bought pies or pie fillings are allowed.

Ingredients:
All pies must be homemade, including the crust. Store-bought crusts and fillings are not permitted. Please use fresh or canned ingredients-no pre-made or boxed mixes.

Entry Limit:
Each participant may enter 1 pie.

Presentation:
Pies should be presented in disposable pie tins. The contest organizers are not responsible for the return of pie dishes.

Judging Criteria:
Pies will be judged based on appearance, crust, filling, and overall taste.
The decision of the judges is final.

Allergies:
Participants must provide a list of ingredients used in their pies. This list should be submitted along with the pie to ensure the safety of all participants and judges.

Submission:
All pies must be submitted by 12 pm on the day of the contest. Late entries will not be accepted.

Tasting:
After judging, the remaining pie may be shared with attendees.

Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded $50 for 1st Place!

Disqualification:
Failure to adhere to any of these rules may result in disqualification from the contest.

Note: The contest organizers reserve the right to modify these rules if necessary. All participants will be notified of any changes before the contest begins.
