After two beautiful years, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close the brick-and-mortar location of Enchanted Treasures Trading Co..
As of right now, Saturday, August 15th will be our final day open.
First off… Thank you. Truly.
Thank you to every single person who supported this little dream of mine over the last two years. Every customer, vendor, reader, artist, teacher, friend, and every person who walked through these doors and poured love into this space… Thank you.
This little shop became so much more than I ever imagined. It became a place where people connected, healed, laughed, learned, felt safe, and found true commUNITY. A place where strangers became friends and where I found lifelong connections of my own. That means more to me than I could ever truly put into words.
I’m sure many of you are wondering what led to this decision. The building recently changed hands, and because of unforeseen expenses on the new owners’ side, the rent will be increasing. Business has slowed quite a bit over the last several months. Between the uncertainty of the economy, rising costs, and everything that comes with relocating a business, opening another storefront just doesn’t feel aligned for me right now. And truthfully, as much as I’ve loved this little space, I’ve grown beyond it. My vision has grown bigger and the space doesn't fit our needs for the price we will be paying. I dream of larger gatherings, deeper community experiences, and more space to share not only my offerings, but the offerings of this community as a whole. So please don’t feel sorry for me. Truly. I’m a huge believer that everything happens for a reason. This experience has changed my life in so many ways, and I am beyond grateful for every lesson, every connection, and every moment that came with it.
This next chapter will allow me to spend more time with my children and family again, which I’m truly grateful for, while also spending more time supporting my husband over at Vincent's Fine Jewelry & Coins. I’m honestly really excited to learn more about the jewelry and antique world and take everything I’ve learned from running Enchanted Treasures and pour some of that creativity and community-building energy into helping grow and evolve the jewelry store too. We plan to continue carrying crystals there and slowly bring a little more metaphysical flair into that world as well.
Life moves in seasons, and I’m embracing this next one with an open heart.
And no… Enchanted Treasures Trading Co. is not disappearing forever. It’s simply changing shape. I already have a million ideas spinning around in my head. I’ll also still be doing metaphysical resale through markets, online sales, and other little adventures along the way. I absolutely plan to continue doing events and gatherings in some capacity too. The amount of love and support you all have shown gatherings, ceremonies, and community events has been incredible, and that part of Enchanted Treasures feels far from over to me.
We are going to continue making memories right up until the very end. All readings and events will continue as scheduled through the remainder of our time here, and starting June 1st, everything in the store will be 25% off. Some of our local artists and vendors will be running specials as well.
Please know, this is not goodbye forever. It’s simply goodbye to the brick-and-mortar chapter. For now.
