Spoiling your dog rotten is half the fun, but imagine spoiling a shelter dog instead? They need it more than ever! 🐶

Almost 3.1 million dogs are given up to shelters a year in the U.S. and it’s time to fight back on this number. 💪

If you are unable to foster, adopt, or rescue.. please consider sharing a shelter to your social media page or even volunteering. Every action counts in the fight for dogs in need. 🐾

we are heartbroken over this loss, but in Dolly Parton we will forever trust 💛

As Southerners, we grew up on Dolly. We listened to her music, dressed up like her, we even named our dolls and dogs after her! Thank you for shaping multi generations with your kindness and pizzazz. ✨

An iconic memory for my family and I to witness this from our house on Lake Wedowee.. but I just realized my dog has never seen this!! So problem solved. 😎

now it's time to lock in 🔐

my alarm didn't go off and i got up anyway, because she did.⏰

first properly cool morning of the year and suddenly everything's serious again. the calls are back on my actual desk instead of the porch. the walk that used to happen whenever now happens at 7:15 or it just doesn't happen at all.🐶

the thing i keep relearning is that getting back into a routine doesn't mean she gets less of me. so now she goes on the calendar like a meeting, because she kind of is one.🗓️
