Friends of the Seguin Public Library

Friends of the Seguin Public Library The Friends of the Seguin Public Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our purpose is to promote the Seguin Public Library in the community.

Through our book sales, programs, and volunteer efforts, we support the Seguin Public Library. The Friends sponsor programs that invite community participation and promote the library. We help support the Library's summer reading programs and all proceeds from book sales benefit the library. In 2016 we will operate a year-round book store and all monies will be to aid the Library. The FOL encourages community involvement and welcome volunteers.

Library MiniCon is happening on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12pm to 4pm!

Come celebrate comics, anime, games, and pop culture at the Seguin Public Library. Special guests include author/illustrator Gonzalo Alvarez, Child's Play Comics, Amtgard Monster's Vale and more! All ages welcome to attend in costume. Cosplay contests for kids, teens, and adult age categories.

From Tai Chi Tuesday and Pet Grooming 101 to the Senior Resource Fair, Fiber Arts Club, Chess Club, and more, there's still plenty happening at your library!

Bowie is back!
In celebration of ALA’s 150th anniversary, we’re bringing back the iconic David Bowie READ poster, first released in 1987. One of the first celebrities to pose for the READ campaign, Bowie was an avid reader and a true library fan.
