And, now for something completely different. 🎉 Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona welcomes cultural storytelling artist Tony DeLuz with paintings that bring a sensational hit of nostalgia, demonstrating his love for road culture with water-based acrylics, that focuses on vintage transportation memories with a bold graphic realism.

🏍Indian Scout 20x16, 🛌Enjoy the View 20x16, ⛽Ramble On 14x11, 🚗That'll Buff Right Out 24x30 and 🎯The Great Wide Open 40x22 by Tony DeLuz are now available at Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the always festive Village of Tlaquepaque.

Americana – the nation’s people and pastimes – is captured with a fresh grace by Tony De Luz, an Arizona-based painter and digital artist who hails from Boston and currently resides near Sedona, AZ. He is known for his paintings of road culture, vintage cars and signage.

He is also known for the wide open spaces of land in the West with his detailed landscapes of the Grand Canyon and beyond. Through his eye for classic architecture and landscapes, he captures the heartbeat of the Southwest and the nostalgia embedded in vintage neon and small-town scenery. It’s as if each painting holds a memory, a reminder of where we’ve been, inviting us to pause and appreciate the history and character woven into our everyday surroundings.

We invite your visit to our website and most certainly to our gallery to see these awe-inspiring moments from our past and to wonder if new things are always better.

🔥We are thrilled to welcome Liam Matthew Dye, an Arizona-based painter known for his powerful and expressive contemporary depictions of horses, cattle, and the rugged landscapes of the American Southwest. Liam will be featured in our upcoming exhibition "Storytelling Wildlife & Animal Friends" opening on 1st Friday, September 4th, with a reception from 4-7pm.

🐎Mountain Drove 24x36, 🐂All That Remains 20x20, 🌵Time Stands Still, ⛅Daughter of Clouds, 🌵Archetype, and 🐂Corriente Mesa are shining brightly on our walls. Come out to Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the always festive Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village to enjoy these statements that capture not only color in a dramatic way, but also the shimmer of light and shadow that defines the land and its animals.

"Field plein air studies are where I connect with the light, color, and atmosphere of the Sonoran Desert in the moment. Each painting captures an experience of being present in the landscape. Back in the studio, these studies become the foundation for larger works, guiding composition, enriching color relationships, and preserving the freshness and vitality that comes from painting directly from life."--LMD

There are so many reasons to love wildlife and their domestic friends, and to appreciate the spirit of our artists who always deliver extraordinary paintings, sculpture, and mixed media works that transcend the ordinary. One of the most compelling aspects of movement in the figurative works is catching the animals at a regal moment of perfection. We are also loving how the artists notice that even animals seem to have an endearing sense of humor as they bring uplifting delight to the mix.

Some days you just have to lock on to a beautiful painting and imagine being there. We are loving the new Joe McKay landscapes that speak of what's to come.

There is nothing like Autumn in the West which brings glorious light and color especially in this magical scene: 🎨"Autumn Joy" 16x20 oil by Joe McKay.

Thoughts of cooler temps and spellbinding luminescence in the snow are in the distant future, but they are on the schedule: 🎨"Winter Light" 1824 oil by Joe McKay.

An avid outdoorsman, Joe travels the backcountry in search of inspiration. His expressive, energetic, and balanced creations evolve most often from preliminary work painted on location. An animating play of light and shadow distinguish his finished paintings.

We invite your visit to Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the always amazing Village of Tlaquepaque to see the possibilities!

Emotive and expressive moments come alive in this series of works by Arizona artist Anton Nowels. Small but mighty, these landscapes move from referenced places to more single experiences of pure unconstrained beauty as these inspirations flash before our eyes.

Allowing abstracted gestures using color, space, and texture to suggest inner complexities for thoughts and ideas give way to contemplative spaces to rest the eye in these mini color-field works of art.

Just arrived at Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the always festive Village of Tlaquepaque are these acrylic 3x3 and 5x5 landscapes by Anton Nowels, just waiting to be placed in a grid pattern that will shine and uplift any space:

5x5 - Roaming the West, Canyon Clouds, and Wyoming Sky and
3x3 - Iron Red, Saguaro, and Dust Storm. All these and more are
all matted and ready for a frame.
