Thr Summer Solstice graces us this upcoming Sunday. 🌞✨️
A celebration that has lasted since ancient times, and observed by cultures and traditions throughout the world.
A sacred day of observing of the Sun at its peak.
The Sun has long been associated with vitality, power, strength, and Divine Masculine energy. I find this particularly special, given this sacred day falls on a Sunday, and especially on Fathers Day.
How can we celebrate?
Take a walk in Nature.
Sacred fires have been lit to honor the Sun's peak of power. Have a bonfire to represent this, and reflect on your own inner power as the Sun sets. A simple candle will also do!
Observe the sunrise, the high-noon, and the sunset.
Decorate your altar, yourself, or both with the colors of gold, yellow, and orange.
Make your offerings to your preferred Sun deities, or just the energies themselves.
Make Sun Tea!
Infuse your ritual oils in the sun for its energies in your craft.
Meditation/prayer in your successes, improvements, and where your own peak of power currently resides. Recognize where you should be proud of how far youve come!
And for this year in particular- celebrate the strength, vitality, and determinitation of your Father/figure!
