Chip Wood has spent all of his life in the music industry in one way or another. Chip played Trombone in elementary school and sang in the church choir. In middle-school he took up drums, bass guitar, electric and acoustic guitars as well. He continued with Trombone in the concert band and in the Jazz ensemble. During High school Chip played Trombone in the marching band and concert band. In his c

hurch group he sang in the teen choirs and played acoustic guitar for the youth group. Through out High school he played in several "garage Bands", sometimes electric, sometimes bass but mostly drums. Attending Morrisville agricultural and technical college Chip learned to play clarinet, sax and flute. There were classes in Acoustical Physics, brass and woodwind repair and a lot of "jamming!"
Fast forward . . . years of sound reinforcement, tones of church sound systems and even some time in a recording studio (on both sides of the glass). I guess that brings us to today! There has been a lot of installation work ans way to much live sound so now Chip has settled in to consulting, repair work and building some awesome guitars! So what ever you need If he can't get it, fix it or make it, Chip Wood knows who can! Drop him a line!

It is hard to tell from these photos, but the back is actually arched slightly. It was a little tricky, but it came out perfect! I am very pleased.
