Two blends, two distinct expressions of the harvest 🫒✨
At Gold Ridge Organic Farms, every olive oil begins in the orchard and is shaped by the varietals we grow, the season and timing of harvest, and the care taken from tree to bottle. Each blend is crafted to highlight a different side of that process, offering its own unique character, texture, and finish.
Our Picholine Blend is our most pungent and vibrant extra virgin olive oil. Made primarily from Picholine olives, a French variety, it carries a fresh, herbaceous profile with notes of wheatgrass, green tea, arugula, and artichoke, finishing with a lingering peppery warmth. It’s a favorite for those who enjoy a bold, expressive, and green, grassy oil; perfect for drizzling over salads, pairing with cheeses, or finishing a dish with a little brightness and bite.
Our Minerva Blend offers a softer, more rounded experience. Aromatic and bright, it presents notes of toasted walnut and pine nut, followed by fresh mown hay and white pepper with a long textured finish and just a hint of bitterness. Its balanced, silky texture makes it especially versatile as a finishing oil. Ideal for cooking, finishing roasted vegetables, or adding depth to simple, everyday dishes.
Both oils are organically grown, harvested, and milled onsite in Sebastopol, allowing us to preserve freshness, flavor, and the natural integrity of the fruit from start to finish.
